Hi my lovelies,

I’ve been holding this close to my heart and wanted to share it with you…

I wrestled deeply with the decision to add preservatives to my formulas. For years, I’ve been rooted in the ways of the old, believing in the simplicity of raw, wild-crafted ingredients as they are, untouched and untamed. Just plants. Just goodness. Just as our grandmothers might have done it.

But as Travelin’ Naturals has grown, so has my responsibility to the people who trust these blends, to the pets who rely on their gentle care, to the sacred rituals you're creating with every spritz, balm, or brew.

Choosing to include natural preservatives wasn’t easy, but it was necessary. Not because the plants aren’t enough—but because you are. Your safety, your wellness, your peace of mind will always come first.

So, while the roots remain the same, the circle of care has widened. And I’ve found a way to preserve my products in a way that still honors tradition—using ferments and flora instead of synthetics. This is still plant magic. Still love in a bottle.... Now held with just a little more protection, so it can journey with you even farther.

personal Truth

The trust and belief in plant magic was not a path passed down to me, it was a calling that rose from within. A pull so strong, I couldn’t ignore it. I’ve always been guided by intuition, by the land, and by the quiet nudge to create care that’s rooted in purpose.

Choosing each ingredient, each ritual, isn’t just formulation...., it’s devotion. And while I once believed nothing should come between plant and person, I’ve come to understand care can also look like protection. These preservative choices weren’t made lightly. They were made in honor of you. Of your wellness. Of the sacred trust placed in every bottle. This is my devotion in action.

To honor the freshness of our botanical mists, hydrosols, and herbal infusions—especially those rich in water—we use a clean, bio-ferment preservation system that’s as gentle as it is effective.

These are the natural and nature‑identical preservation systems I rely on throughout my formulations. Each one supports botanical integrity in its own way—helping keep water‑based blends fresh, stable, and safe without parabens, formaldehyde donors, or harsh synthetic preservatives.

A touch of plant‑based alcohol is included in some formulas to support clarity and aromatic lift. It is not part of the preservation system, and every choice reflects my commitment to clean, conscious care.

International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients

This is the standardized, globally recognized way ingredients are listed on skincare and haircare products. Think of it like the universal ID for every element in our formulas. Even if we refer to something lovingly as “radish root ferment,” it’ll show up on the label as Leuconostoc/Radish Root Ferment Filtrate so everyone, everywhere, knows exactly what it is.

ECOCERT Approved

ECOCERT is a respected certification body that evaluates ingredients for safety, sustainability, and natural origin. When you see an ingredient marked “ECOCERT approved,” it means it has passed strict global standards for:

Biodegradability
Natural sourcing
No GMOs or harsh toxic synthetics

COSMOS Certified

COSMOS (Cosmetic Organic and Natural Standard) is an international standard that verifies every stage of an ingredient's journey—from how it’s grown to how it’s processed. A COSMOS-certified ingredient is:
