My love for botanicals began long before Travelin' Naturals. What started as a personal curiosity about herbs, essential oils, and plant-based ingredients gradually became a lifelong study of how nature can support everyday rituals and wellbeing.

As Travelin' Naturals grew, so did my commitment to understanding not only which ingredients I use, but why I use them. Every botanical, hydrosol, preservative, and solubilizer is chosen with intention and evaluated for both performance and compatibility with the philosophy behind the brand.

Below is a simple overview of some of the terms you may encounter when exploring ingredient information throughout Travelin' Naturals.

INCI (International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients)

INCI is the standardized naming system used for cosmetic and personal care ingredients worldwide. It allows ingredients to be listed consistently across products and brands, regardless of language or region.

For example, what may be commonly known as lavender essential oil appears on an ingredient label as Lavandula Angustifolia Oil.

ECOCERT Approved

Ecocert is one of the world's most recognized certification organizations for natural and organic products. Ingredients carrying Ecocert approval have been evaluated according to established standards for sourcing, processing, and environmental considerations.

While certification alone does not determine quality, it can provide additional transparency regarding how an ingredient is produced and evaluated.
